EMR Training and Implementation Specialist

Location: Roswell,GA 30075
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description:
Silk Information Systems is a CCHIT Certified Web-based EHR company providing Software as a Service (SaaS) to physicians including Practice Management, Electronic Medical Record and Revenue Cycle Management Services.

If you have been on an EHR implementation team, understand the workflow of a Physician’s front and back office, have both a clinical and technical background this could be the place for you!

The Training and Implementation Specialist will:
· Complete a comprehensive onsite implementation assessment for new customers.
· Design, develop and deliver customized application training for end-users of all levels through either online GoToMeeting sessions or onsite training classes.
· Serve as the main point of contact for Customer's during the implementation process (from contract execution until approximately 60 days post go-live)

· Provide onsite Go-live assistance to providers

· Complete audits following training to ensure each user is properly utilizing all of the features within the system

· Create, record, edit, update and publish computer based training (CBT) modules using Captivate

· Perform software customizations, ranging from basic to complex.

· Review and assist in the development of software documentation and product enhancements using Snagit

Requirements
· Working knowledge of Healthcare industry; familiar with acute care services, and physician office workflow including back office
· Medical industry training and EHR implementation experience

· Ability to manage classes of up to 12 students including physicians

· Self-starter, with strong sense of ownership, assertive follow-through, and results oriented

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Speak and write fluent English

· Ability to balance multiple priorities and deal with stressful situations

· Proficient working with MS Office Suite of products including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Power Point

· Working knowledge of medical terminology

· Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines

· Basic knowledge of client/server applications and technical terminology

· Travels 50-60% - (must have drivers license, MV Insurance, credit card, etc.)

· Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

· Excellent people skills with professional demeanor and a positive attitude

· Ability to manage customer expectations while on-site

· Customer satisfaction oriented

Preferred:
· Degree in Business Management, Education, Computer Science, or Health Care
